Sorry to be stupid, but how do you configure names for routers in
Router Manager???
In the Show Devices window, all my routers have [not configured]
underneath them.
Where is the name configured? In router manager, router configurator
or via Telnet, or do I need a MIB browser?
Thanks
Jeannie

Now if you were paying attention in class....(grin)
You click ONCE on the router with the RIGHT button and when you get the
pop-up menu you click on CONFIGURE. It then goes out, discovers the
router and magic happens!
By the way, it works REALLY NICELY with DECnis (sorta) and traces paths
thru the net, discovers routers en-route (bad pun). You can use it on
the live network for demos...!
