I was so impressed by the rapid answer to my last out-of-date question, I 
thought it worthwhile posting this one!!

We have a customer (COGEMA in La Hague) who has some DEBAM-RG, and who 
feels the need of some other ones... They need that equipment, because they 
need an optic link longer than 5 km (this DEBAM allows for 10 km).

I know we don't have these equipment on our catalogue any more. But could 
there be some of these still available somewhere? 

We can of course propose to replace them by a FDDI ring with multimode 
fibre. But the price wouldn't be the same... and I wonder if we could use 
the fiber in place (multi-mode of course).

Is there any other solution?
Did you already have to face this problem?
