      Hello

      About Compatibility,
      i've tried to configure Portswitch900FP (V2.2) link to DECbridge90FL
unsuccefully, link leds comes on , traffic seems pass thru, but
      i can't downloaded a Decserver90M through this connection.

does somebody know if really 900FP works with older 90FL ? even
if they are Base FL compliants together

thanks in Advance for any help

| That configuration (900FP to Bridge 90FL) is in use at several of my
customer sites. My 900FP are all at V2.0.0, (with the ThinWire issue)
    but besides that work nicely.

Check out your port counters on the repeater, and the DECbridge.
Perhaps something strange happening on the ThinWire backplane. Why are
you downloading a DECserver 90M? What does it's counters look like?
IS it running NAS v1.5 or higher?

| Thanks for you input, all counters from Bridge and Portswitch seems look ok, downgrade 900FP to V2.0 solved the problem, i'm going to test with a new 900FP (should be an hard problem) stay tuned.. JYP | |||||
