 I'm a Sales support engineer in NPB-Japan.

 Could anyone please let me know the function of Ethernet ports for 
 RouteAbout Central EW ?

 	Is this router a normal 10-port router (ethernet x 2 and 
 	serial x 8) ?  to help you answer let me ask two specific 
	questions:
  
     	1.	Can we configure the ethernet ports with the 
		following configuration ?

                subnet mask 255.0.0.0
		
		ethernet port No. IPaddress
                              --  ---------
			      1 : 14.1.1.10    *******
			      2 : 15.1.1.10    *******

	  	serial port   No. IPaddress
			      --  ---------
		 	      1 : 16.1.1.10     
               		      2 : 17.1.1.10
              	     	      3 : 18.1.1.10
               		      4 : 19.1.1.10
                              5 :     .
                                      .

	2.	Are the ethernet ports swiching ports ? Are they able to 
        	have the same network address ?  to give an example:

                ex.   
		ethernet port No. IP address
                              1 : 14.1.1.10  *******
                              2 : 14.1.1.10  *******
