I have just installed a DECbrouter 90T2 in a 900MS backplane. I was
under the impression that if I double click on this module with
hubwatch it would launch a telnet session. So far all I get is an error
message back saying something about there being no Agent for that slot.
Am I wrong in my assumption or can I launch a telnet session from
hubwatch? If yes, can anyone suggest a reason why I get this message.
the hub is up to current rev. 4.1.1
I am using the latest version of Hubwatch.
The brouter is at version 10.2

TELNET to the DECbrouters works. First, double-check your configuration: - Make sure the Ethernet interface to the brouter has an IP address. - Make sure SNMP is enabled in the brouter. If both of these conditions are set, then it *should* work in a 900 backplane. Tom Hood once the brouter/telnet guy

The "no agent" message means that the MAM could not report an IP/community pairing that HUBwatch could talk SNMP to. Tom Hood bad news bearer
