Some feedback I recently recieved from a Customer with regard to
Hubwatch.
1. There doesnt seem to be a way of retrieving a "smart" repeaters own
MAC address using Hubwatch...only a console or physical inspection of
the module.
2. The HUBwatch help mentions that only a 900GM and 900TM dont support
"enhanced" auto-partition algorithm..what about the 90TS, 90C etc...
3. Can someone please explain what the proposed JABBER detection
facility is?
Thanks and regards,

Jason,
Regarding item 3 as per the MIB. "The jabber protection function
automatically disables a port whenever it detects a very long input
event (or jabber) on that port. Once disabled the port will neither
transmit nor receive data.... The port will remain in this state
until the port's rptrPortAdminStatus object is set to enabled(1).
Without the jabber protection mechanism the port will not "lock" in
the disabled state.
Thanks for the feedback on the other 2 items.
Regards,
Bob
