Can anyone explain how Hubwatch (V4.1.1 in this case) displays the
stations in the Decrepeater 900TM port summary window. It should
display the stations connected to the port and try to translate the
stations' MAC address to the corresponding IP and DECnet addresses.
I have connected a Decserver to a port and tried telnet and ping both
ways and Hubwatch only displays the MAC address?.
Thanks Jim

Hi Jim,
HUBwatch checks the DECnet nodes database and ARP cache for an IP or
DECnet address which matches the MAC. What platform and version of
HUBwatch are you using? IP support was added to V4.1 HUBwatch for
Windows.

Hello Bob
I think you have answered my question. The customer was running V4.0.1
on a Windows platform.
Thank you very much
Jim.
