hi:
when running PROBEwatch V3.3.1 I keep getting an error when trying to
create a new agent;
the error states:
"Could not create new agent.lst
Please checkownership and permissions for this file"
I am working without any documentation on this, my presumption was that
the NSHOME env variable (defaulted to /usr/users/PROBEwatch) was
somehow at fault.
I chmod'd the directory (as a test) to allow all to write to the
/usr/users/PROBEwatch/usr) diretory, but no change.
can anyone shed light on this?
thanx

I fixed the problem (I think) by chown(ing) to the user account of the
/usr/kit/PROBEwatch/usr directory, as well as the files below it - e.g.
#chown probwat /usr/kit/PROBEwatch/usr
#chown probewat /usr/kit/PROBEwatch/usr/*
Things now seem operational.
I am not sure if this is the correct thing to do, but at least it
got the user off and running..
