I have a question regarding AUI 10Base2 ports on repeaters.
Prior to me migrating our LAN Office connections to DECHub 90s last
year the 10Base2 network was connected to the 10Base5 segments via
a DEMPR/DELNI/DEBAM configuration. When this was used ports on the
DEMPRs that were not connected were left unterminated.
Since the migration we are using mostly DR90Cs and I have in every case
placed terminators on all the ports that have no connection on them.
Is this good practice, does it make any difference ?
