    PROBEWATCH for Windows under Windows95
    ======================================

    I have installed ProbeWatch V3.3 for windows on a Highnote Ultra
    running Windows95. It installed correctly but terminates instantly when
    run.

    Is there a Win95 variant? Can anyone confirm that ProbeWatch will
    definitely run under Win95.

I have HUBwatch/HUBloader/ProbeWatch running under Win95 no problems!

    All I have in my CONFIG.sys is
    ; REM

    All I have in my autoexec.bat is

    Set hubwatch_hubloader=d:\hubload
    set Hubwatch_libaray=d:\hubwatch\userdata
    set hubwatch_load=d:\firmware
    set wsavers=1.1

| re: -1 Can you elaborate more on things. As per notes 3133 and 2412, I too have not been able to make Probewatch work under Win95. I have the same symptoms. All "sets" and "paths" are OK in autoexec.bat. Installed V3.3 of Probewatch. Hubwatch works ok. C:> SET TMP=C:\WINDOWS\TEMP winbootdir=C:\WINDOWS COMSPEC=C:\COMMAND.COM MOUSE=C:\MOUSE PATH=C:\WINDOWS;C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND;C:\DOS;C:\;C:\MSOFFICE TEMP=C:\TEMP BOOT=C: PROMPT=$p$g WSAVERS=1.1 HUBWATCH_SYSTEM=C:\HUBWATCH HUBWATCH_LIBRARY=C:\HUBWATCH\USERDATA HUBWATCH_HUBLOADER=C:\HUBLOAD HUBWATCH_LOAD=C:\FIRMWARE NSHOME=C:\PROBEW NETRIDER_LIBRARY=C:\NETRIDER windir=C:\WINDOWS C:> Any other suggestions? | |||||

| I now have it working. Problem was the license file (LICENSE.CFG) must be in \PROBEW\USR directory. -Larry | |||||
