    Hi,
what is the last version of hubwatch for openvms
    Is it version v3.1?
If it is the case, when is planned the new version? Will it support
decbrouter 90 with software 10.X because I have a customer who cannot
manager the decbrouter 90 with hubwatch for VMS v3.1.....
Exactly the same problem than the one described in note 2593 with
    hubwatch for windows v3.1.......
What is the possible workaround for this customer?

    Any help appreciated

| HI,
thank you chuck.I had a look for the note 2593.5 and it is clear that
the problem comes from this mib difference.
But how can I solve the problem? Is there any way to change the CISCO
    MIB within HUBWATCH v3.1.
If not, what about a new version?what is the current version of HUBWATCH
for openvms...V3.1 I believe ......is it right?
    Thanks
    Lionel

| 2704.3 | Can downgrade DECbrouters to 9.14, but.... | FOUNDR::OUIMETTE | Eyes of the World | Thu Sep 07 1995 09:57 | 21 |
| Hi Lionel,

I'm a DECbrouter weenie, so I can't comment on possible HUBwatch
futures/solutions, I'll let the HW folks do that. From a DECbrouter
perspective, the customer's DECbrouters *can* be downgraded to 9.14,
look in notesfile KALI::DEWBR (early notes 1-10) for pointers to
software. Two things to note though; 10.x has many features that 9.14
doesn't have (such as subinterfaces), and will only be supported by
cisco for bugfixes until April 1996. No new development is being done
on the 9.X codestream, only bugfixes.... but it's *very* stable :^).

So, if HUBwatch V3.1 management is *critical* for your customer, and
they are not using any of the new 10.x features, I suggest downgrading, as
    an interim solution.

    			Good Luck,

    Chuck O.
