    	If it hasn't already been done as a scoping process, a dir/title of
    this conference would probably reveal items which should be covered.

    ie. when to use what kind of cable (crossed vs not crossed)
        the six ethernet lan limit
        the assignment of ip addresses for mam and ip services module
        the whole dechub 90/decagent 90 management world
        how to recover a dead module -- bootp method
        the how many hops is this config examples
    	traps - who sends what from where and what is important to monitor

    	I will gladly proof read this puppy for you and give it the stupid
    reader field test.

| 2470.4 | A few more suggestions... | MSDOA::REED | John Reed @CBO = Network Services | Thu Jul 06 1995 09:24 | 17 |
| | I would include a VERY SPECIFIC list of configuration RULES, and
    perhaps a copy of the OPEN DECconnect Network Designer floppy, in a
    pocket on the back.

    Many VARs out there are having a VERY HARD TIME configuring DEChub
    products, and need their hands held very tightly until they get a few
    more configurations under their belts.

    I know it's redundant, but as many places as we can, we need to publish
    which modules fit in which slots, and which supply what types of
    services, and how many repeaters can be be in a network, and how many
    bridges, and why not to put a router in parallel with a bridge or
    repeater, and what types of fiber connectors can talk with each other,
    and who to call when you need more help...

	The writer who's doing this document started out by going
	through this notesfile, so the most frequently asked q's
	and most frequently seen sources of confusion should all
	be addressed in the guide.

    Delivering the TPT110 I received very good comments about the Power
    Compsumption Sheet that Ed Buzzell included in the course. Many people
    told me they already needed that.

    Info about part number and/or pin assignment of common used cables
    is very useful

	FDDI configuration guide from Karl Pieper should be included
and , from my point of view , is a model of clarity and completude
	also something like "do and do'nt" is always appreciated to avoid
errors
	thanks for the efforts ;
