2406.0. "Why doesn't a DMHUB-AA include a power cord?" by STRWRS::KOCH_P (It never hurts to ask...) Wed Jun 21 1995 09:41

    I'm confused (normally alot, but this time even more). I put a DMHUB-AA
    out on rotcon. I helped install it for the customer and when I tried to
    plug it in, I couldn't find the power cord. I said, damn, a packaging
    error. I had an extra cord and was all set. I then contacted my sales
    development specialist to check out why this happenned. She contacted
    manufacturing and was told "The DMHUB-AA does not come with a power
    cord". This seems really strange to me. Why is the power cord not
    included in this? If this is the case, what is the part number for the
    power cord?

| | Normaly every DEChub900 should contain a power cord. This is actualy
    one of the reasons why we have all the different country variants. Not
    all countries have the same power outlets and need diferent power
    cords.

    According to "APPIX" you need following power cord:

     	BN26J-1K  or
        17-00083-39  (spare part)

| 2406.2 | DMHUB-AA does contain power cord | NPSS::LIZOTTE | Network Product Support | Thu Jun 22 1995 12:12 | 5 |
| | According to APPIX and the CEO EDITED OPTION/MODULE LOOKUP the DMHUB-AA
    does contain a power cord 17-00083-39. I've heard of another instance
    where a DMHUB-MB was ordered, which doesn't contain the power cord.
    I couldn't tell you why you didn't receive one with the -AA variant.

| | The DMHUB-MB variant is the sparepart number that MCS uses.

    I think I figured out. It was a relabelled DMHUB-BA. It seems that this
    might be what happened.
