My customer wants to use a DECbridge 900EF to connect 2 ethernet LANs
to an FDDI ring. He wants the broadcasts/multicasts from the 2
ethernet segments to ONLY be able to go to the FDDI, not to the other
ethernet segement.
Is this possible using existing filtering capabilities of the DS900EF?
Thanks,
Mark

| 2337.1 | Read note 895.9 I think it has your answer.... | NETCAD::BATTERSBY | Fri Jun 02 1995 09:07 | 5 | |
Mark re-read note 895.9 I think it says you can lock down
specific ports so that in-bound traffic to those spcific ports
will not be forwarded to other Ethernet ports.
