I have a customer, Lockheed, that is trying to run two buildings across
a leased-line with DECbrouter90's attached. Everything seems to work
except their NOVELL 802.2 packets. They run Novell exclusively in 802.2
mode rather tha 802.3 as most people do.

What setting do they need to change to allow IPX/SPX/802.2 to pass
through the DECbrouter90s? It must be something because no dice yet...

    Suggestions?

    Mark

See KALI::DEWBR Topic 643.4 and then rest of 643 as it may only
    apply to 10.0 and above.

    Bottom line -
You cannot use IPX routing and IPX 802.2 with BRUT-I's 9.14 and below.

You may or may not have success bridgeing IPX 802.2 as we only
tried it with bridging over frame-relay and never got it to work
correctly, i.e. anytime UNICODE was down loaded the server went 100%
conpute bound and the client hung, when we switched to ETHERNET-II
on the Novell Server, everything worked even when we finally switched
    to IPX routing.

    						FWIW,
    						Bill
