Yes.

| | With this upcoming wave there will be a firmware consolidated kit with
all the firmware upgrades available on OSF. Also, the corresponding
HUBwatch release will contain the HUBloader application to load the
    modules and hubs.

| | Not a good idea to run new hubwatch with old mam & devices if the
devices are capable of fddi lan-hopping. You can get yourself into
trouble that would require a factory reset of the mam to resolve.

    Thanks for the updates.

I guess the next question would be to ask if the new firmware files are
available now, and where are they located (if not in the usual spot).

We need to demo HW for OSF 4.0 ASAP, and need the firmware for the
    following modules:

    Dechub900 multiswitch
    DECconcentrator 900MX
    DECSwitch 900EF
    DECrepeater 900TM
    DECserver 900TM

    thanks very much.

| 2272.5 | not quite ready. | CGOS01::DMARLOWE | Wow! Reality, what a concept! | Fri May 12 1995 18:17 | 6 |
| | I understand that the consolidated firmware kit is not yet available.
For the DECswitch 900EF the to be shipped version, ie. V1.4.4, has been
available for a little while to customers that have problems that it
fixes. Other than that, we all wait.

| | Correct, the consolidated firmware kit is not yet available on any
platform. Since I am the one bestowed with the honor of putting the
kits together, and doing so is number 372 on my priority list (behind
getting MAM firmware to do what we claim it will do), the kits have not
yet come together. However, since the firmware is still in our system
test loop and the documentation (release notes) have not completed
their reviews with the project teams, there's nothing to put into the
    kits at this time.

And no, there are no "preliminary" versions of the firmware generally
available (those that have such versions have obtained them through the
    proper channels, i.e. product management).
