| 2129.1 | Is it A or B??? | SCCAT::MILLER |  | Fri Mar 24 1995 10:17 | 11 |
| | Since no one has answered this, I assume that the question is either:
    A) Really stupid and something I should automatically know; or B)
    Something that can't be changed. Since I use Hubwatch to set up hubs
    for a network integration project on a very regular basis (usually on
    the customer new construction site and under sometimes pretty poor
    lighting conditions), this is a serious issue for me. Black letters on
    a dark green background makes for very difficult reading, even under
    the best of lighting conditions. Could someone let me know if A or B
    applies?

    Thanks!

On the other hand, one thing you get for your extra $$$ with the Motif
versions of HUBwatch is a collection of designer color palettes, tan,
teal, gray, and rose, from which to chose. Select one to match your
decor, and another to match your mood.
And it's Friday. *Please* don't set me up with straight lines... ;-)

| 2129.3 | In the future... | SCCAT::MILLER |  | Mon Mar 27 1995 11:38 | 9 |
| | Thank you. Then, as a request, can the foreground color on those
    screens be changed (in a future version of HW) to either white or light
    yellow? Since I travel all over the country upgrading a customer's
    offices (and the Alpha laptop has been canned), the OSF/HW/Motif
    solution isn't available to me (workstations are a little heavy to
    carry on planes).

    PS - I'll be careful on the straight lines from now on (But it did get
    your attention!).

    Along the same lines, I'm trying to get Hubwatch to run on a mono LCD
    screen laptop. I'm beginning to suspect that Hubwatch is choking on
    this. So, the question is: Is it possible to run Hubwatch for Windows
    V4.n on a monochrome LCD screen laptop? Are there any magic
    incarnations I can do to my system to fix this (if it is a problem).

| 2129.5 | Get thee a HiNote! | SLINK::HOOD | Your bad news bear | Thu Mar 07 1996 22:45 | 8 |
|  |     Ken,

    I think HUBwatch requires a color monitor. This would be a good time
    to justify a nifty new PowerBook to your manager!

    OK, so get *me* the PowerBook (Mac-lover here) and *you* get a HiNote.

| | I still use an old DEC 425sl, with a monochrome LCD. It works fine,
    except for the LAN Interconnect screen. That is impossible to see on
    Black and silver.
