    The literature that I've read so far does not state that the
    DECrepeater 900FP is backward compatible with FOIRL compliant products
    (such as Cabletron stuff).

    However, I have read that the DECrepeater 90FL is backward compatible
    since it complies with the 10BASE-FL standard.

    Is the DECrepeater 900FP backward compatible also?

    Can I assume that if one of our products is 10BASE-FL it will be FOIRL
    compatible by default?

| 2076.1 | And will it work with Chipcom? | WOTVAX::HATTOS | It's simple - but it's not easy | Fri Mar 10 1995 04:28 | 9 |
| And as a secondary question, is it compatible with the Chipcom FOT?

    I don't know whether the Chipcom was FOIRL or not? I seem to remember a
    big hoohah about their 'new signalling scheme'.

    Cheers,
