| Is this due to the Ethernet chip set used or 'just' a firmware issue?
Any discussions going on to incorporate this into the DECswitches sometime?

John, it's a function of the MAC layer. The LANCE chip can't
talk and listen at the same time. So it's not a firmware issue.
