I met a potential customer yesterday. They liked the look of HUBwatch,
but were wondering if there were any plans to put in monitoring of
specific protocols and the ability to alarm if a particular protocol
thruput went over a preset limit?
I expect the answer is to use a DECpacketprobe 90 & Probewatch? Is this
true?

PROBEwatch comes with domain support for quite a few common protocols.
You can build custom domains with the additional filters that exist.
You can even build your own filters, then your own domains to monitor
most any protocol.
