    Hello,
    
    A customer is seeing resets on his Decconcentrator 900mx. He is
    currently running version 2. The release notes for V2.1 do not mention
    anything known along theses lines. Has anyone seem this before?
    
    There have been 13 resets on the concentrator but there are only 4
    dumps available, these are as follows:-

    Hi Jon.  Can you give me the environment in the which the
    concentrator is in?  Is it in a HUB 900?  Is it LAN Hopping
    on the backplane? Is it the IP server for the HUB?  What
    devices are directly connected to it?  How frequent are the
    crashes?  Etc.
    
    From this we maybe able to put together a possible reason.
    Then again, we may not :-)

    The concentrator is in a dechub900 (it does not provide the IP
    services) & connects 3 other DEChub900s via patch pannel fibre and
    Decbridge 900mx (one in each hub) to form the ring. There has been no
    lan configuration on the backplane (customer currently has Hubwatch
    V2).
    
    Over a weekend the customer attached a sun spark station 10 and a Novel
    server (compaq PC with DEFEA-AA) to the concentrator & it was the
    following week that the problem occurred. The customer removed the
    Novell server but still had a few crashes of the concentator after
    doing this. Since that day there have been no further crashes of the
    concentrator (4 days) but at its peak there were about 12 crashes in a
    2.5 hour period.

    I've worked with Jon off-line.  All of the problems his customer
    was seeing have disappeared once they upgraded to V2.8.0.
