I want to capture using Probewatch for Windows and Packetprobe 90,
Ethernet Packets between two MAC address for a packet type of 60-06.
I cannot find from the user manual how I specify a particular
packet type although the manual on page 6-4 under filter list says you
can have user-defined filters. How and where do I define my own filters
for packet type.

60-06 sounds like a standard protocol (I can't remember which at the
moment), so you should be able to use VIEW on the Filter Editor screen
to find the Filter name. If your version of PROBEwatch doesn't have
a Filter editor, then copy the latest eval kit from
NAC::NIPG:[MANAGE.RMON.WINDOWS.DISK1] .DISK2 .DISK3 etc
If there is no 60-06 filter existing, then use the ADD button on
the Filter Editor screen to add it and give it a name.
Then, if you want to view conversation statistics between the two
nodes, you will have to add a Domain that includes this Filter.
(A Domain may already exist - use the Domain Editor to look at
Filters used).
Once you have installed this domain on the DECpacketprobe, and enabled
the HOST and Conversation groups, you can look for either Host in
the Host table and zoom in on it to see the conversations with that
packet type.
