Hi all,
our salesman have sold DECbridge 90 and some DECrepeaters 90 to one of
Prague's university. Now the customer realised possibility to manage
those boxes by MOP protocol. But they do not have any VMS, Ultrix or
OSF/1 machine. They are looking for "console carrier" for MS-DOS
(Windows) or SunOS or SCO Unix. Is there any "console carrier"
implementation for them? I guess they would be satisfied even with some
shareware if available.
Does anybody know about "console carrier" for above mentioned operating
systems?
Thank you in advance for any information

Sell (give) them a LAT Print Server (stripped down DS 90L+) as it has
a MOP Connect command. If its a single or daisy chained hub then
you could put a DECagent in the hub to manager the repeaters though
the OBM port. But you cannot manage other hubs through DB90s as the
feature to view and manage other hubs through OBM is not in version
2 of DECagent firmware.
