hi, i have some trouble to upgrade some Decrepeater900 TM from V1.0B to V1.0G using Decnduplus for DOS. using the command listed in user manual: c:> decndup /u/f hubmodule /m 5 1.1.1.1 c:\firmware\detmm.bin all seems to be worked (no error message, all phases seems to be working) but if you re-examined the microcode version after the upgrade ,the Decrepeater900 tm stay in V1.0B. workaround : put directly a Ip address on the Decrepeater900 TM and using the command below c:> decndup /u 1.1.1.2 c:\firmware\detmm.bin works as well. any restrictions/features/doc errors are already reported for this problem ?? thanks for any comments. Jean-Yves

| 753.1 | V1.X repeater need an address to upgrade | QUIVER::SLAWRENCE | Wed Feb 23 1994 09:19 | 7 | |
| The DECrepeater900TM V1.X firmware does not support upgrade via the IP
    address of the Hub - it must be given its own address at least long
    enough to upgrade it. You found the right answer. This should have
    been in the release notes - I'll check it out.

    The repeater engineering team is very activly working on putting
    hub-assisted upgrade capability into future releases.
