I installed Hubwatch for Windows T2.5 and am having a problem when
trying to run it. I double-click on the hubwatch icon, the application
comes up and asks me to specify agent. When I enter the information,
I get the error: the socket cannot be created. Error number returned:
    1001.

    I have a dechub900ms and a decrepeater900tm in the 8th slot. During
    configuration I entered the following:
    name of pc : pc170
    ip address of pc: 16.20.40.002
ip address of default gateway (bridge): left blank
    local ip domain name: 16.20.40
    network subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
    your user name: chayes

The ip address of hub: 16.20.40.001
The ip address of repeater: 16.20.40.003
    community name: vbusa

I am able to successfully ping the pc, hub, and repeater.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

| I had the same experience when I restored an old system.ini file onto
my PC. In this system.ini file the pcsa.drv and the decpw.386 where
    missing. (network.drv=pcsa.drv and network=xxxx,xxxx,decpw.386)

I also find out that installing only the HUBwatch software didn't solve
the problem. I had to install also the network files before the
    system.ini file was corrected.
Perhaps this is something for the development fooks !!
