Hello,
Does anybody know if a Novell Network (central file server, distributed
clients) will allow HUbwatch for Windows to run from any of the client PCs.
A customer wants to run Hubwatch from any PC on a Novell Network, running
IPX , I presume.
What if the Novell N/Work is running IP ?
What about over a Pathworks network - running DECnet OR TCP?IP ?
Please advise on possibilities. The idea is to use any PC to manage the
DEChub environment with full GUI screen from any LAN connected PC.
Thanks
Michael

Hallo Michael, What about PATHWORKS for DOS (NetWare Coexistence) products? Combined with PATHWORKS for DOS (TCP/IP) it will provide the IP protocol for the PC. I am not sure whether HUBwatch supports PATHWORKS for DOS (TCP/IP). Regards, Fung Siong

HUBwatch for Windows V2.0 uses the Pathworks V5 TCP/IP stack, Telnet, and SLIP. It works fine on a Pathworks V5 client node. The first release will not be tested in a pure Novell environment. We hope to guarantee it before the next release.
