Does the DECrepeater 90FA automatically switch between 10baseF and
FOIRL depending on what it senses at the other end of the link.

For example, I have a situation where two 90FA's will talk happily, but
replacing one with a LANbridge 150 causes the connection to fail.

    Any ideas?

    Dave.

Yes. >> For example, I have a situation where two 90FA's will talk happily, but >> replacing one with a LANbridge 150 causes the connection to fail. The LB150 does not speak FOIRL or 10baseFL, it uses a DEC propriatary signaling list the LB100, so you cannot use a LB150 with a DR90FA | |||||
