    Does anyone know how I might be able to capture the results
    of a DB90 SHOW ADDRESS command into a file. More specifically,
    I want to run a VMS batch job that extracts data from the DB90
    into a file that can then be processed for reporting purposes.

| 298.1 | use SET HOST/LOG? | NAC::FORREST | Wed Jul 21 1993 17:23 | 7 | |
| Mark, at the beginning of the Batch file, can you do a SET HOST/LOG, then run NCP and make the MOP connect to the bridge? You could then text process the log file to extract the interesting parts of the session. I have never tried this, but I think it might work. jack | |||||
| 298.2 | good idea, but not quite | BSS::AMBER | Mark Amber, CXO3 LAN Mgr. (DTN)592-4645 | Fri Jul 23 1993 20:13 | 5 |
| Yeah, I also figured that _might_ work and tried it but... SET HOST wants a terminal device for command input and won't run in batch. Any other ideas? | |||||
