| | Greg,

Where does it say your Ethernet Address is at? Does it look like a
    valid Ethernet address?

The fact that you are not able to Ping anything suggests that you
dod not install your drivers properly. FWIW that is the most difficult
part of the HUBwatch installation. This is not a HUBwatch fault but
just part of life on a PC.

    	Some quick things to check:

    		* did you modify your autoexec.bat and config.sys as
described in the README icon in HUBwatch?

    		* did you CONFIGURE your NETDEV.SYS file correctly? If you
are not seeing a valid Ethernet address coming up, this one would be my
    bet.

Let me know how you make out, and I'll help as I can. Let's do it
here so that others can benefit.

                                        regards,
    					Mark

With the CUSTOM NETDEV command, I added my own IP address
(16.181.64.253) and 0 as the number of subnet bits
        (subnet mask 255.0.0.0).

The h/b option was set to 300, and the h/v option to 5

        I still can't PING anything....

        Best regards,

| | Did this problem ever get resolved?
    I have a similar problem/
The packet driver seems to be loaded and find the ethernet address, but
when I start windows it complains that it can't find the packet driver.
Also ping doesn't work and says that the packet driver isn't loaded
    which seems a little weird.
I have a DECstation 316 with a depca in it.

    thanks,
    Mike
