In the folder view of the Exchange client window, my mailbox "set of
folders" icon cannot be expanded - i.e. there's no "+" or "-" box
beside it.
If I double-click on it, I do see the folders in the detail window
on the right.
Odd thing: the box-under-the-folders portion of the icon now now
shows a down-arrow.
This happened just after I flagged one of the folders in my mailbox
as available for offline work.
Any ideas on how I can get it to expand again?

Works fine after a reboot.
Still no idea what the down-arrow in the set-of-folders icon means.

The down-arrow on the mailbox icon means that this is the primary mailbox for this Exchange profile. If you have additional mailboxes in the profile, they do not have the down-arrow. The primary mailbox is the one from which messages are sent (unless you over-ride it with From: and have Send As or Send on Behalf Of permission for a different mailbox. It is also the name that will appear at the top of printouts, regardless wich mailbox you print from. -stephen | |||||
