919.0. "MTA entity not displayed at Server level" by MEOC02::BEESTONL (Liz Beeston) Tue Mar 04 1997 22:46
    Hi,
I have installed Exchange but do not have a Message Transfer Agent
entity visible under the SERVER level.

This is Exchange V4.0 SP3 running on WINNT V3.51 Alpha,
I have installed the Exchange Server and SP3 from the Microsoft
Select CDs and then installed the IMC from a floppy disk I
    created from the Select CD.

When I open up the Server level I can see the following entities
    Public Information Store
    Private Information Store
    Directory Service
    System Attendant

Under Control Panel, Services, I do have the Microsoft Exchange Message
    Transfer Agent running.

I can send messages between users and to the IMC, Public Folders etc.

Does anyone know why I don't see this entity. I need to be able to see
    the Queues, Diagnostics etc.

    Thanks, Liz

| | Hi Liz,

You have to install the Microsoft Exchange Connector.
Just install. Nothing more. This will make your Exchange
    server from "standalone" to "enterprise"...

    Cheers,

| | Jan,
Thanks, I thought it would be a component issue.
