    talking about bigscreen monitors...

I have a basic question: when I took my monitor switch apart (that
switches mono to color for a multisync), I learned that they just
feed Atari's mono signal to all three inputs of the multisync the
same time to display monochrome. That means they route the syncs
without any switching from Atari to the multisync's sync inputs and
RGB to the RGB inputs when color is to be displayed. When the
monochrome is displayed, they switch off the color signals and feed
the monochrome signal to the RGB inputs of the multisync the same
time. This looks for me, that any RGB monitor that is able to handle
the 71Hz is able to display the mono video of Atari. Is that right?
In that case one should be able to connect a WS-monitor with RGB-inputs
to the Atari and use it as a multisync monitor. According to their
resolutions they should be able to handle Atari's 71Hz? You still would
have 640*400 pixel, but on a 19'' screen. Not bad, if I'm right. But
still, what about the signal voltages? Do they match the voltages of
    our monitors?
