982.0. "VR100 for ST?" by SUOSW3::KAISER (ULTRIX/SQ...what??) Fri Oct 12 1990 06:04
Has someone ever tried to connect our old VR100 monitor (VS I, VS II, mono)
to an ST? Is this possible? And if yes i think you need a new VDI driver,
a modified GEM or whatever. We have two of these monitors around here in our
office, so I came up with the idea of having a cheap 19' monitor.
(is it 19 or less?)
Any comments, suggestions?

| | This task would require the equivalent of the "moniterm" hardware card
that installs inside the Mega systems. There is no way that I can think
of that you could program the internal video generator in the ST to work
at VR100 frequencies.
