     Hello Markus,

I've tried this. But it's HORRIBLE! As SIGNUM II has it's own output
routine, you cannot put something like barrel between SPRINT and the
     centronics port. But...

If you have CREATOR V1.1+ (from Appl.Sys.Heidelberg) you get a program
which prints SIGNUM II output to a file (only .P24 fonts). So you have
approx. 1.5 MB per page as a file. With the second program you can con-
vert this file into a file with different resolution (180, 360 dpi ..)
readable by CREATOR (different size, depends on dpi). You can modify
this 'picture' (e.g. DINA4) as you like and save it as an .IMG file.
I copied this file to a VAX (using kermit), run STCVT and print the si-
     xel on a LN03 ... uufff.

With 180dpi selected (CREATOR), the printing had nearly the same qua-
lity as an VAX Document printout.

     Shocked?

     Matthias
