I saw some CD games in town today but didn't see which computer
they were for. I think they were published by Codemasters. I've
heard that this particular publication can use an ordinary HI-FI
CD player to run the games but don't quote me on that.

    Hi,

I saw an article on these. The CD is for Commodore 64 machines. In the
box with the CD is a little box what plugs into the audio out of an
ordinary HIFI player. the other end of the box plugs into the
cassette port of a C64. What they are selling is a very expensive way
of loading tape cassettes !! What you get as an extra is some sound
tracks of the music on the games.

    Regards
    Pat K.

| And I understand that Codemasters probably won't be making the CD
    available for the ST.
