I have an Epson-compatible printer which functions well with my ST,
but is painfully s l o w, particularly for NLQ or graphics output.

So now I'm looking for a PD printer buffer package.

    Ideally it should be:-
    a) configurable in size
    b) automatically installable (i.e. no user interaction when booting)
    c) flushable e.g. to abort a mistaken print job
    d) 'clean' i.e. does not interfere with other programs

I've tried BARREL, but it doesn't meet requirements b) and d). I found
it causes problems running batch programs under several different
shells, even when printing is not in progress!

Can anyone recommend a suitable buffer package?

| This seems to be the right place...

Does anyone have any experience with an accessory called

    	PRINTSP.ACC ?

I install is as an accessory then print something out, it "appears"
to return me to the desktop faster than a 'normal' print, but noth-
ing comes out on the printer -

    							Any thoughts?
