    A helpful hint for protecting fragile stuff from static discharge
    during the cold dry winter months...
    
    Mix water and Downy Fabric softener, 7:1, in a spray bottle and
    mist the carpets in and around your computer room.  This makes a
    great cheap anti-static spray.  You can shuffle around all you like
    and you'll never build up a charge.
