It seems that one must have Epstart for printing with an Epson from
a MacEmulator (MacigSack does not have any default printing cap,
Aladin only supports Epson 9 pin printers).
My problem: Aladin with Epson LQ500 24 pin letterquality printer.
And my local Apple dealer says that Epstart is not sold any more
but I should buy a hardware grappler for 480 Swiss Francs!!!!!
I think there are alot of people with MagicSack: can you give me
information about
- does Epstart work with Epson LQ printers? (LQ500 is the little
compatible brother of the LQ1500) Any restrictions?
- Where can I get Epstart from? If not on sale anymore can someone
make a copy available? (On the net or by private exchange of disk)
Please help me, I want to print!!!!

I use Epstart with Magic Sac. As a matter of fact the company that
makes it releases it in Magic Sac format as well as Mac format.
Yes, it will work with your 24-pin Epson printer (I have a 24-pin
Epson clone [ALPS ALQ-224]).
It is not my understanding that the company is defunct. I will,
however, try to find this out for you.
