I wonder if anyone has any suggestions ... I currently have an STFM
(1/2 meg built-in drive A) and a 1 meg drive B. I have a program
that will only fit on a 1 meg disk but insists on running from drive
A. (ie when I run it, it gets so far then tries to access drive
A. I would like to 'hack' the program so that it runs totally off
of drive B. So far, I have searched the program (using RAID) for
any usage of SETDRIVE and have dumped the program (using DISK DOCTOR)
for any text referring to "A:\" and have fixed those. However, I
still get the drive A accesses. Does anyone have any further
suggestions as to how I can hunt down the code that causes this
drive change ?
Jamie.

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MY 520 ST. I OPENED UP THE CPU AND
REMOVED THE SINGLE SIDED DISK AND PUT THE DOUBLE SIDED DISK INTO
THE 520 AND MOUNTED THE SINGLE SIDED DISK INTO CASE FOR THE DOUBLE
SIDED. BOTH DISKS WHERE ATARI. I DON'T KNOW IF THIS WOULD WORK
WIH ANOTHER BRAND. SINGLE SIDED DISKS BOOT UP FINE ON A DOUBLE
SIDED DRIVE. I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU OUT.
