I put the following query into the USENET conference but got no
useful responses. Has anyone here used the PD SERVER successfully

I recieved information about an Atari ST Archive Server on my ST
newsletter the other day. Trouble is, I can't seem to acces it.
The text in the newsletter says that the address is :
[email protected]
OR
[email protected]
So I send mail to : DECWRL::"netlib!lakesys ... etc".
I get a reply from DECWRL saying that the path is not known. Has
anyone else tried to access this ? Am I doing something wrong ?

There was a ``correction'' to the path that he gave first. Are
you using the corrected path?
Unfortunately, I junked the message with the corrected path, so
I can't help there. You could try sending mail directly to Marty,
(Weidmeyer?) and I'm sure he could help.

I have used the server many times in the past. However I am running ultrix so the path is easy for me. I'll try and find the path through decwrl from a vms system and post it here. mike | |||||
