| Hey folks.
The company with which I am currently working - Java Theater Co. - is
in need of a stage manager. A *good* stage manager.
The work consists of 2 rehearsals a week, with phone work that would
need to be done other days. The rehearsals are in Charlestown, MA one
night, and in Boston the other night.
The show opens in mid-May, with 5 performances a week for 3 weeks. The
performances will be at the Leland Theatre at the Boston Center for the
Arts.
Also, on April 25th, there will be a fund-raiser for the theater
company (not-for-profit being a REAL term for theater companies!),
which will need calls to be made, and other stage managing duties. By
the way, the benefit will feature our own erstwhile moderator, Justine
Sullivan!
It is not a certainty that any of us will be getting paid for this
show, though it *is* probable. Not a lot, mind you, but it should at
least cover expenses for driving in, etc.

We need to get someone fairly quickly, as the SM we have now is just
not working out, has no initiative, is not organized, and NEEDS TO BE
REPLACED!
