    Well I'll start....
    
    Out of seven cats...I have one big black one named Barkley.  Barkley
    plans on posing in the window sill at all the little gremlins that
    come to the door.   I'm sure he has a few tricks up his paws!!!
    
    I just hope I don't have another experiece like last year...(I know
    there is a note in here somewhere) where a pure black cat showed
    up in my house on Halloween night.  During a quick glance...I thought
    it was Barkley....but then Barkley came walking towards us and was
    face to face with this other black cat....you should have seen the
    surprised look on our faces.    Well we felt it was an
    omen...so this new black cat was adopted by my sister who lives
    upstairs.   His name is Oakley!!

    There are four solid black cats in the FIRM. Panther is going to go
    trick-or-treating disguised as Eirene, and Eirene is going to wear a
    Panther costume. As usual, they will be transported on a
    top-of-the-line Eureka
    
    Nikoloas will naturally just fly around on an electric broom and just
    present his business card when a human answers the door; he figures that
    he doesn't need a costume as the site of a lawyer will scare any one these
    days.
    
    Kostas has opted to stay in for the evening and devour all of the trick
    or treat candy that the human was planning on giving away. (His diet
    starts in November)

    Hi,
    
     I have one black cat in the family. Feendoonie will probably be in the
    house wondering why Furby is bald on her tummy. (She goes in tomorrow
    to be spayed) 
    
     She will definetley be in the house all night though. Even though I
    live in an adult housing area, and have been told we won't really get
    trick-or-treaters, I don't feel comfortable letting her out then.
    Actually, as soon as I get home for the rest of the week, in she comes,
    and in she stays! Not going to be a happy camper, I can tell you that!

    Onxy is going to lay low and try to pretend that Halloween isn't 
    happening.  He is not going near any doors at all!  Period.  Mom doesn't 
    want to pull his kitty double in again by mistake.  Made for alot of
    noise out of the other kitty residents when the imposter came in.  He
    is also warning all the stray black kitties in the neighborhood (Onyx
    Double and LBK [Little Black Kitty]) to lay low for the night.
    
    Amelia is going to go as either a seal pup or a turtle (depending on
    whether she is sitting down or laying down), Bailey is going as her
    namesake (Bailey's Irish Cream) and Carrie is going as Dr. Jeckel and
    Mr. Hyde (since Onxy has been around her personality changes from
    minute to minute depending on whether he is attacking her or loving
    up to her).  
    
    I'm not sure of the mentality of the neighborhood houligans, er, I 
    mean children, so we're bolting the patio gate that leads to the glass
    door (which most people seem to think is my front door) and only 
    answering the real front door which opens into a hallway with other
    apartment doors.  This will cut down on cat escapes and with a little
    luck and hopefully will nudge trick or treaters to behave a wee bit
    better.

    My cat nephew Khalife is hopefully going to stay indoors.  So are S, H,
    and LB, although the first two are already masquerading as black
    watermelons when they're not putting on their "A diet!!!???%%  I haven't
    eaten in six months; you're starving a poor helpless cat" routines.
                                                            

My new kitty, Simon, (he's got 4 white hairs - does he qualify as black?), 
will be a vampire bat this year.  He's heavy-duty into biting things right now.
He was practicing his flying/biting attacks this morning on one of my pillows.

Hannah will be pretending she's not there.

    Nebula will be spooking things up for her human slaves and her spotted
    companion-cat - just like any other day!  You gotta love half-Siamese
    cats...

    No black cats, but a white and toroiseshell (is that what you call it?
    Snoopy is white, black, and orange patches) cat and white dog.  I
    believe Snoopy will be dressed up as a doorstop (one of her all-time
    favorites) or maybe a panther (sometimes she dreams big).  The dog will
    probably be dressed up as a furry spring or a racecar in the Indy 500
    (doing laps up and down the hallway).  Can you tell we have a teensy
    compatibility problem?
    
    My apartment building has a 'security system' which is really a locked
    outside door.  Most of the trick-or-treaters will be from inside the
    building (can't be many--I'm not even buying candy), I think.  In fact,
    I have a violin lesson that night, and I may take the dog with me (to
    keep me company on the drive); I think the cat will be safe enough
    indoors.  And if I get around to buying fish, everyone will have a
    treat that night.

         Midnight will be hiding under the bed ;-) .  She doesn't like door
    knocking (our doorbell is broken ;-) ), nor does she like little
    two-legged creatures.  I will probably lock her in the bedroom with
    Bigfoot and Loki, just to avoid kitty escapes!

    I have one black cat, Pippin, who will take her usual position up on
    top the TV next to the pumpkin and gaze out the window for all to see. 
    Quite a beautiful picture, I must add.
    
    Who knows what the boys will be up to - Stitch has been hinting for a
    Zoro outfit but I imagine Gino will opt for ear plugs and hide under
    the bed.

       The GANG contains 4 black beasts.
    
       Sheba the small, sleek half siamese.
       Cooki the big, coon-like long hair.
       Chief kitty who always is dressed in his tuxedo.
       Pepper who wears white lace gloves.
    
       All four won't even go near the windows, well, neither will any of
    the others.   Our house is guaranteed to get egged, as it only a few 
    feet off the road.  Everybody in my neighborhood hides.  Trick-or treat
    isn't allowed in town, only the local kids go to their neighbors.

    Well, Isis is shining up the Harley and oiling her leathers.  I know
    she plans to sneak off and steal "Max" (Angel's little black kitten)
    from Ivor for the night.  She'll probably grab Murphy (his silver
    brother) too.  Then its back home for the PUTIPUT HALLOWEEN BIKER BASH.
    All kitties are invited.  Motorcycles are the preferred mode of
    transportation but Isis understands the more refined kitties would
    prefer limos.  Its ok as long as they are black limos.
    
    Costumes are required.  She would be especially pleased with black
    cat costumes.  
    
    Two Kegs of catnip arrived yesterday along with several magnums of
    Champaign.  Seems Isis is trying to cater to everyone.  She's setting
    up two rooms - one for the bikers and one for the more refined folks.
    I know she's already talked to Happy about the Pizza (Pounce pizza,
    trout pizza, chicken pizza, catnip pizza) and has contacted Prescie's
    personal caterer for the "alternate" menu.  
    
    I also thought I heard something about male and female strippers for
    the "biker bash".  With a string quartet in the other room.
    
    This is going to be quite an affair.  Think I'll go out for the
    evening.  ;^)
    
    Nancy who refuses to wear a French Maid outfit for this!  I don't
    care if I AM outnumbered by the feline's in the house.
    

    Wow, Linus would love the Biker Bash!!  But mom thinks he might get
    into too much trouble.  He'll definitely be strutting his shiney black bod
    in front of the windows for all to see.  He really loves this time of
    year!!

    HMM.. Nancy that explains a few things.. hmmmmm.. Now,, I also
    heard tell that that only is there a BIKER BASH.. but Panther
    Jane Spingler is also holding her Annual Halloween Tea Dance..
    so the "furry kids" will be out and about socializing for
    a couple of days.. hmmm.. Gee Nancy.. I think Panther Jane
    will be  a"tad annoyed" with you if you do not wear your
    outfit.. and I know the The PUTIPUT Kids definitely call
    THE FIRM and report you.. hmmm..

    they will be attending all the parties.
    
    By the way, did anyone see the "Sadie" cartoon in the NOv issue of Cat

    We live way back from the road, with no street lights, so we don't
    usually get trick-or-treaters....but if we did, BUCKO the panther,
    would be lurking on the side of the driveway.....waiting.....LURKING...
    and then he'd dash out from the side and scare the **** out of everyone,
    just like he does whenever I put out the trash or get the Sunday paper!
