Well, it appears that THE FIRM has decided to "diversify" and is on the way
to becoming a "conglomerate". I just picked up a copy of 128NEWS in the 
cafeteria, and noticed in the classified under "Misc.", an ad entitled
"Free Computerized Restaurant Guide". The ad began with the sentences "Find the
perfect restaurant in the Argus Restaurant Database! Extensive profiles of
almost 500 Greater Boston Restaurants, plus restaurant menus." The ad goes
on to give a modem number, or details on how you can get a your oen diskett
copy of the database each month for a small monthly fee.

Well, now I know why he doesn't seem to be loosing any weight on the R/D, and
why he is spending so much time on my terminal (and why my credit cards
bills are loaded with charged from resturants I could never afford to think
about going to...)

	Well, if you really want to be surprised, there is a series of workout tapes produced by THE FIRM. I some how doubt that AJP, Esq. had much to do with them as he would have hired someone to sweat for him... Now you know where all those sweat bands and tights came from.... Mary

	Lately there has been lots of talk of a "franchise" in my house! Something about a chain of Scottish stores selling plaid kitty beds, clothes, blankets, cage curtains, Scottish flags and providing a "clan search" service for all the Scottish folds. That way the well dressed Scottish fold can be sure s/he is wearing the right tartan. There have been mounds of contracts around so I KNOW that Argus has his hand, er... paw in this. Of course, mom is expected to come up with the startup money even if it means a second mortgage on the house. I don't stand a chance!! Nancy DC

	well, the news gets WORST, folks. I happened to be perusing the Boston phone book and what did I see listed but the ARGUS BAKERY and ARGUS HEALTH CARE SYSTEMS! And I had thought that only Her Loveliness had a "side business" (You have no doubt seen those franchise copy centers named after the Peripheral Interchange Pussycat). Deb
