If you have too many animals and go broke feeding them, that sounds
like a pretty valid reason to spay the momcat :^). Besides, there are
plenty of cats and kittens filling up the shelters that need loving
homes and most with great temperaments too. By bringing more kittens
into the world and then making a plea for good homes, that is one less
kitten in a shelter that might have been adopted. A spay is a one time
fee and a lot less costly than raising and caring for litter after
litter of kittens. It's a real shame.
In any case, if I hear of anyone looking for a kitten I'll let you
know.
