I would need some help from you guys,i would like to get
another cat but i have my 3 years old siamese call
Sebastian ,and i don't know if he would like to have
another cat in the house he is jalous i did make an attemp
before ,he did not like that he was mad at us and he would
not be as affectionate like he used to be but i keeped the
kitten for only a week because i could not stand Sebastian
to be like that ,but i really would like to have another
cat in the house ,i regret that i did not get two at the
same time ,can anyone tell me what to do if i get another
cat how to get the two cat to be friend and how long should
it take ,and if there is any risk that my Sebastian would
never be friendly any more because this is my biggest fear
about that i wants him to stay affectionate and have the
                joy of having two cat.

| Hi Jean - there are lots of excellent ideas in this notesfile about introducing new cats into a household, so I won't repeat them here. There may be a keyword associated with the notes/replies. Basically you need patience, as it can take time for a resident cat to accept an 'intruder'. Was the other cat you brought in a Siamese? Ours all cluster together, even though only two of them were littermates. We brought in a totally unrelated Siamese kitten last February, and while our calico hasn't accepted him yet, our three other Siamese took only a few days before bringing him into the fold. Within a week they were all sleeping together and grooming each other. Hope this helps. Sandy + 5 | |||||

That "fold" is no doubt a mutual admiration society.

| What's that??? A "Siamese-Fold" ;-)

Yes, definitely look at previous notes. SHOW KEYWORD will list all
the keywords in this file and you can use DIR/KEYWORD=<keyword> to list
the notes associated with the correct keyword.

    Good luck.
