Good News!
The stray I was feeding is 1) not a stray, and
2) not the one I thought had been run over!
She belongs to a neighbor down the street, and drops
in for a meal. And eats like it's the last meal
she'll ever get!!! I know the neighbor well enough
to know the insufficient care she gives her pets, so
the cat is welcome at my door.
It made my night!
