Manx is the proper term. They are reasonable special -- you might try calling
the vets in your area to see if they know of an owner who might be missing one.

| I have already tried calling the vets and they say that they see a lot
of them, but cannot pull up their owners. Talk about having a better
computer system....!!!

| Can you give a more accurate description for us? Color, pattern, coat
length?

| Sure. She is a gray cat with darker gray stripes and the most
beautiful eyes I have ever seen. They are a green/turquoise blue mix.
My quess she is about 1 to 3 years old. She isn't declawed yet and
appears to be a semi-outdoor cat.
As for her personality, she is lovable. The first 3 days she was shy
and aggresive at the same time but once she got familiar to her
surroundings she is a walking marshmellow. She doesn't demand a lot of
attention but when she gets some she adores it. I think she was a
womans cat, just by the way she cozies up to me and semi-ignores my
husband.
I am desperatly trying to find her a home. My husband is running out
of patience. If anyone out there is interested please contact me ASAP.

| Carrie,
It would be helpful if we knew where you lived so we could find a home
more easily. I might be interested if I knew where you lived in
relation to me. Of course, I'd have to discuss it with my roomie but
I want to make sure it's worth the effort first.

| I want to thank everyone who helped me place Smokey. She is now living
in Newton and seems quite content.
