| | YES!!! Humans can catch worms from animals/cats. The treatment for
humans has not advanced as quickly as for cats--my sister didn't enjoy
    it one bit.

I have had many cats arrive at my door with worms but have never caught
any from them, at least not yet.

| | People can catch ringworms from any animal, but I'm not sure about other
kinds, like roundworm. I asked my vet about roundworms when Meg had them,
especially since she had me worming all the cats cause they used the same
litter box. I asked if I could catch them and she said "Why? Do you use
the same box as the cats??"...

| | Um....Ringworm is NOT a worm. Its a Fungal infection and it IS
contagious from cats to humans and vice versa as Pam Matsis can tell
    you.

| | And unless you make it a habit to consume either fleas or tapeworm
segments, you are probably save from getting tapes from your cat
    as well. :^)
