| | You might ask your vet if it would be possible to leave the cat there during
the day....I know my vet will allow me to leave my brood during the day if
I need to get them out of the house.

If you have an office with a door, why not bring him into work?

| | Be careful that he doesn't get into wallboard dust and so on
when he is at home -- lots of construction stuff can be very damaging.

| | Mittens (my cat) and I thank all who responded. I think that we will
be okay. The contractors will only be doing work on the inside for
one day. She should be okay we will keep her in a room that they will
not be able to get into. I won't leave her without being sure that she
is okay and safe. She is very special to me...

    Thanks again
    Linder
