| | Nancy, I got my issue last night... great article! The Folds featured
are very nice. The cover cat has very nicely folded ears, and Dana
wanted to know what an owl was doing on the cover of Cat Fancy!

I like the folded ears better than the curly ears.

| | Sounds just like the story they had a while back on
Korats. They have a lot of the same purrsonality
    traits.

Except the folded ears, of course! :-)

(who would also like a Fold someday, with/w/out folded ears!)
    >> actually, who would like 1 or 2 of every kind someday! <<

| | Nancy,

The only thing they didn't list was the "stubborn" trait :-)

| | re: .3 - Yes and they were entirely too polite in their explanation
of how bratty they are. :-) They didn't use the word brat in their
explaination but us fold parents know what they meant.

I'm going to post the cover picture on my wall as a goal. Of course,
I want bigger eyes than that. Dundee's eyes are considerably larger.
Now if I could just get him to open them all the way at the shows!

| | YES, saw the article and thought of you right away. I didn't really
know anything about this type of cat before except in connection
with your notes. I won't let my 5 year old see the picture or
she may try to use Scotch tape on one of our cats ears and call
it a Scotch Fold (she's starting to read some).

| | re: scotch tape - Well, we have friends who call the cats "scotch
    fold-overs". I guess that's what you'd have if your 5 yr old
    taped your cat's ears :-))

| | I too thought of you when I saw the mag. - Nancy. They really look
like little owls. I thought mine looked like tufted owls but those
    guys look, well realistic ....

| | Yes. Immediately when I received my copy I thought of you and your
cats, Nancy! In fact, since you write in this conference a lot, I've
made a point to pay attention to articles about Scottish Folds. I
even decided that I would like to own one if the occasion ever arises!

In fact, I would like to own a variety of pure breed cats, but whenever
I walk into a Humane Society, I end up with a purry, furry, pound
    puti-tat.

    Theresa (a Terran humanoid)
    	Altaira (my female torbie)
Darcy (a grey tabby, A.K.A Indiana Jones)
    	Merlin (a seal-point siamese-x, w/ blue, blue eyes)
